Cycling Stars completed 100 Miles in Ride LondonEssex100

Through blustery rain and strong headwinds, our team of four fabulous cyclists battled to cover 100 miles from the embankment in London, through Essex and back to cross the finishing line on Tower Bridge, as part of Ride LondonEssex100 on 26th May 2024!
Paras, who organised the team and the fabulous cycling jerseys, says….
“The first part of the ride was okay – we got to the 53 mile welfare stop and then the heavens opened. A proper deluge! Getting back onto the bike for the return leg was a bit more challenging due to the headwind but we found a nice refuge at 62 miles where we got some savoury snacks!.
The second half did drag and it was only due to Errico that I managed to get back. I was completely broken.
Matt and Freddie had a better time and looked completely fresh at the end!
We had a lovely pint to celebrate finishing and are now planning next year already…!”
Wow, what a challenge!! Thank you so much to the tremendous Cycling team!!
We are so proud of you all for completing the course and raising over £1000 for Kids for Kids!
