Our Kids in Lights!

Our Kids in Lights!

The most amazing Christmas present for Darfur!    We have been given TWO huge billboard digital poster sites in London, Vauxhall Cross and Cheyne Walk to appear in a cycle with other ads for three days this week, 1st – 3rd December.  This ground breaking donation is the brainchild of Sally Dickerson of BrandScience, who was determined to reach out to as many people as possible.    “When I told Sally that the UN reported that 30% of children in the villages of Darfur are acutely malnourished and unlikely to survive until Christmas, she said she would think of something that would help” said Patricia Parker MBE Founder of Kids for Kids.    “If this doesn’t make a difference, I don’t know what will.”  Marketing effectiveness experts  BrandScience worked with their sister Omnicom company, Talon (outdoor specialists) to plan and secure the space, kindly donated by Outdoor Plus.  BrandScience has been a supporter of Kids for Kids for some years, Zoe at BrandScience designed the ad to engage and cut through on these large sites,  close to the venue for our Candlelit Carol Concert, and timed to remind of that and raise awareness for Kids for Kids, especially at Christmas

Children in Darfur have never seen a light switch.   Now they are going to be up there in lights themselves!   There is no electricity, no water, and no food in Darfur.  Goat’s milk will save their lives.   We have been trying to reach people to ask them to Give a Goat for Christmas.   We will send personalised Festive Certificates right up until Christmas Eve.

These huge poster messages say it all.  Please will you too do something for Darfur – give a friend a goat this Christmas and tell them how her milk will save a child.   You can order our super Festive Certificates right up until Christmas Eve!

And if you can get to London, please come to our Candlelit  Concert on 3rd December and join David Suchet, Julie Etchingham and Richard Wilson and find out why they are keen on goats too!  We do not advertise because we make sure every penny possible goes to help the children – and now we have the most prominent advertising sites in London!

Wishing you a happy and peaceful Christmas,

Patricia
