Help change lives through sponsorship, advertising and pubicity
We are delighted to have received support from the following organisations through many different ways: donations, event sponsorship, advertising in our Programmes, collection tins, publicity and, to keep us going, moral support! It all makes a difference. This is not a definitive list as some do not wish to be publicised. Do click through on some of the logos to read more about Kids for Kids on the company sites. We are grateful to you all.
Your support for Kids for Kids is enabling us to change the lives of hundreds of forgotten children in Darfur who live each day with the threat of hunger, thirst, disease and violence. Without your vital support children would die from treatable diseases, suffer long term consequences of malnutrition and even not survive birth. You are helping us transform their lives and we cannot thank you enough.
“Delamere Dairy has been producing and selling goats’ milk in the UK and around the world for 32 years. Most of our customers choose goats’ milk as the naturally, nutritionally complete alternative to cows’ milk.
In Darfur, people do not have the luxury of choice but goats’ milk from the Kids for Kids goat loan scheme transforms children’s health and saves lives. Kids for Kids’ ethos is, ‘We don’t believe in charity, we believe in enabling people to help themselves.’ This resonated with us, and we are pleased to support Kids for Kids in whatever ways we can.”
“International Diplomatic Supplies, IDS, is committed to giving back wherever possible, and that has developed into a programme of supporting children based charities, with the emphasis on food and clean water.
At IDS we are committed to building a legacy of support for vulnerable children and we have been doing so since 2008. IDS began a journey with Kids for Kids in Darfur, Sudan, and has raised over $350,000 through various events. These initiatives have helped to provide water pumps in remote villages in Sudan.”
“Walking Women has partnered with Kids for Kids because we share the same values. We both believe in the power of women and the importance of education. We are both passionate about investing in a sustainable future for those in areas of the world that struggle the most.
What we love about Kids for Kids is that they work to empower women and help them start their own businesses with goats at the heart of all they do. This has been called the best micro finance scheme with women being given or loaned goats to give vital milk to their children but also to breed more goats to support more families. The projects are entirely run by the community for the community and keep going and growing – truly sustainable.
We are proud to support Kids for Kids and their important work. For each holiday booked with WalkingWomen a percentage will go towards buying a goat. By working together, we can play our part in getting more goats to families in Darfur.”
