Support Us During Your Studies and Gain Valuable Experience whilst Volunteering

Whether you’re Going for Your Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award or Studying International Development at Degree Level, put your hard work into practice and learn life-changing skills whilst changing lives!

We would love to hear from you!

We were delighted when Miruna Magar, studying for her MA in Children, Youth and International Development at Brunel University, got in touch to arrange her 3 month placement with us.

Little did she know, she would be responsible for running a 20 hour sponsored Danceathon for our 20th Anniversary!

Little did we know that she was a famous Nepalese actress who has since returned to Nepal to star in one of the most popular films around!

On completing her placement, Miruna said:

“Thank you for your support and encouragement. I had the best time ever and loved every bit of the challenge!”

Thank you, Miruna, you were an absolute star and we look forward to seeing you on the big screen soon!

Miruna also hopes to set up a charity similar to Kids for Kids to help the street children back home in Nepal.

Eleanor Clarke - Silver DofE Award

At the age of 16, Eleanor Clarke contacted us to see if she could help out as part of her volunteering commitment to a charity for her Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award – we were thrilled!

Eleanor dedicated 1 hour a week for 6 months and brilliantly juggled the tasks we set her alongside her GCSE school work.

She even managed a bit of time for baking and we are so grateful!

You can try making Eleanor’s bakes – Goats, Donkeys & Chickens, of course! – by downloading the recipe here.

Eleanor said,

“I have really enjoyed learning more about Kids for Kids and getting creative. Hopefully you will have as much fun reading through as I did creating it.”

Thank you so much for all your hard work, Eleanor, we hope you will join us again soon!
