RotaWalk’24 Ticket

Join us for the RotaWalk’24, organised by Rotary in Dorking which will take place on Sunday 28th April 2024, on the National Trust land of Holmwood Common, due south of Dorking.

Help us raise desperately-needed funds for the children of Darfur by raising sponsorship and challenging yourself to complete this 4 mile circular route with family and friends around the beautiful Holmwood Common. The route is a flattish, cinder-based all-weather circuit, suitable for all ages, and easily negotiated with push-chairs and mobility scooters.

Join Patricia Parker OBE and friends for this lovely walk – a great chance to get some steps in, enjoy the countryside and perhaps do a bit of bird-spotting too!

Fancy-dress outfits are also encouraged!!

We will confirm start and finish times asap but, to give you an idea, last time our walk started at 10:00 am from the Northerly point close to the car park at  Inholms Lane and North Holmwood Church. We then finished at this same point, where we checked-in to confirm we had safely completed the route. En route, there was a waystation at ‘The Viewpoint’ where we could relax, enjoy the view and sample the drinks and cake on offer – yum!

Please choose your donation below – the more we raise, the more we can help the forgotten children of Darfur!
