Fishing for Goats!

This year’s annual Kids for Kids’ Executive Fly Fishing Day will take place at Park Lake, Albury on Saturday 8th October.

We really are fishing for goats (well, not literally!) but every single pound profit will help us provide goats to children who are in desperate need of their milk.    We need as many as we can get.  The need is huge.  Park Lake is utterly beautiful, and ours for the day.   The secluded lake will be stocked with trout and if you have never tasted trout straight from the water to your plate than you have no idea how delicious it is.   Of course, you will have to catch it first but we will provide people to help you!

Enjoy an exclusive day of fly fishing on the Duke of Northumberland’s private lake in Surrey.  The perfect day to entertain your clients – for beginners and experienced fishermen alike!  Tackle will be provided but please let us know in advance.

Delicious refreshments as listed below will be provided throughout the day.

Ticket Options:

Full Day tickets  (9.30am to dusk) @ £135 each (min. donation)  to include breakfast, morning coffee & home made cakes,  lunch with wine and beer, and finally afternoon tea (more home made cakes!).  All drinks available throughout.

AM session only  (9.30 am to 12:30pm, including lunch) @ £78 each (min. donation) to include breakfast, morning coffee & home made cakes and lunch with wine and beer.  All drinks available throughout.

PM session only  (12.30 pm lunch ’til dusk) @ £78 each (min. donation) to include lunch with wine and beer, afternoon tea with home made cakes.  All drinks available throughout.

“I hesitate to ask, but if you would like to add something extra as an additional donation it would really help.  Without our events last year our donations have fallen just when we are needed most, but I know life has not been easy for anyone recently.”  Patricia Parker OBE Founder.

N.B. Children (minimum age 10)  need to be accompanied by a fully paying adult.   Because of the limit of space on the banks children also have to be full price.  Sunglasses or glasses, and hats ideally with a peak, must be worn by everyone. Health and safety is our first concern but you are advised that you fish at your own risk.

COVID-19 Updates:

All funds will be returned if Covid-19 causes us to cancel, but social distancing is essential by the water’s edge because fishermen have to have space to cast.   The event is entirely outdoors and seating for lunch or during the day is at your choice.    Tables and benches are provided but do bring your own individual chairs if you prefer.   There is ample space!
